"Let's enter this hall, under one accord, to praise the Lord, no matter the faith" — Chuby Dice
Praise Flow draws from the spiritual tensions that run through Jamaican movement culture. From Revival and Kumina traditions, where the feet stay grounded and the rhythm builds through repetition, to church spaces where movement becomes testimony, release, and praise, and finally to the Dance Hall where dance becomes connection & identity.
Seldom explored in Dancehall teachings, prayer, reflection, survival, and gratitude all live inside the music and the movement of Dancehall. From tracks like Hope and Pray to selections such as God Is the Greatest and Mi God Mi King, faith-themed Dancehall holds tension between struggle and giving thanks, all in one flow.
This Series explores this unique lineage. Using Dancehall bounce, groove, and repetition, Chuby will move through grounding to release and connection.
